“The Exposers” present the “Laundry Pick-up Service”.

Nowadays, digital marketing, advertising and the social media corner the market. Through high competition, great challenges and many opportunities, creativity and innovative marketing ideas could improve the world. In the purposes of our course “Ad Discovery and Creativity Lab”, we, as students of AD&PR Lab of Panteion University , research the latest trends in advertising and communication as well as work on and create some really interesting projects as brand ambassadors of PR digital media company.

In the frames of our last task of our semester, we were asked to create-launch an advertising agency. We came up with the name “The Exposers” because we strive to “expose” the good elements of a business company to the public eye. Thus, our mission is to make distinguished businesses ventures to stand out. How we do that? Very simple by bringing ourselves in the right position in order for promising startups to trust us or by getting directly in touch with them.

Why we do that? Because we believe in innovation and diversity and because we are familiar with the high competition. Furthermore, we stand for equality, accountability and we possess high ambitions.

Our main target group is preferably startups. The reason for this is the fact that we believe that there is a great opportunity in the market for such businesses. Our headquarters will be located in the center of Athens (Psychiko) but we are going to be more than eager to collaborate with partners who will work from distance. Our first actions will be addressed to the Greek market, but in the long term — once we have outgrown our influence- we will explore our potential in the international market. In order to gain a boost in our beginning of our journey, we have thought the possibility of launching a collaboration with the well-known agency “The Newtons”.

After having found our identity, we chose to take up as our first customer a startup in the making called “Laundry Pick up Service”. The main problem which this startup claims to solve is for starters the situation that exists in Hotels on this matter. In detail, every Hotel collaborates with a laundry business. So, when a guest asks for laundry service, the Hotel staff sends his clothing to the partner on this matter. So far so good, but the problem begins upon check out where the guest is asked to pay a ridiculous amount of money for that service. The reason for this is summarized in the word commission.

The solution that the “Pick up Service” aims to provide, is an application that will bring customers with laundry businesses directly in touch, without the need of a middleman. To be exact, this app will combine in one single platform all the listed laundry businesses in the area where the client will be staying for the time being. So, the customer will have the choice to either take his laundry on his own or have his package picked up and delivered by a partner of the LPS. All this will happen with the customer being well aware of the final charge from the very beginning. This start-up will be addressing to tourist, travelers and also students.

How will all this be communicated? As “Exposers”, we came up with the tagline “Smells like Home”. In order to keep the budget as low as possible and at the same time try to reach to as many people as possible we decided to use sponsored posts on social media, google ads (banners and ads on youtube prior).
