The New Volvo XC60 — Moments

The Volvo Group , one of the most famous car brands, is a Swedish multinational manufacturing company headquartered in Gothenburg. While its core activity is the production, distribution and sale of trucks, buses and construction equipment, Volvo also supplies marine and industrial drive systems and financial services. In 2016, it was the world’s second largest manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks.

All these years Volvo, has been trying to connect the brand name with safety and it has succeeded. That’s why is the most innovative group in the matter of safety. This innovation is introduced to us by the new Volvo’ s campaign, Moments.

The campaign is about a little girl who is talking with her mother the morning before the first day at school. She is very nervous, so her mother tries to calm her down by asking her dreams for the future. As the girl narrates the future she wants, we watch a sleepy woman driving the new Volvo, early in the morning.

At some point, while the woman in Volvo is not paying attention to the street, the little girl crosses the street without taking a look. Whereas everyone believe that the woman will hit the kid, Volvo is there to save the girl and the woman with the most advanced safety system.

Every parent wants a safe world for their children. Volvo knows that and tries to give that world to them. So the group decided to create a really emotional campaign to display the new safety system, which can scan and recognize various figures in order to decide if the car should stop automatically.

Nowadays, the use of artificial intelligence is one of the most discussed topics, and Volvo came to introduce an innovative one.
