Attending the course of “Introduction to Advertising and Public Relations” which we had in the 4th semester at the “Communication, Media and Culture” department, the last exercise that we were given was to create our own start-up business which would be under the umbrella of our own branding advertising agency, M.A.G.I.K.. In addition, we were asked to produce a campaign for our start-up business.
Our company is called “Wanderlust” and it is a travel agency. The main purpose of our business is to create custom and affordable vacation packages. Each one of our packages is uniquely designed based on our customer’s budget, personal status, and mood. Our goal is to provide to our customers their dream vacation with the press of a bottom.
There are plenty of travel agencies around the world, however, our own company contains some exceptional benefits. To begin with, our company is addressed to various target groups. We are able to create vacation packages depending on our consumer’s needs. For instance, there are packages specifically design for families with kids and other packages for young people.
In addition, our consumers can create themselves their vacation package using our utterly unique filters. By using these filters our client can specify the price they are willing to pay for their trip. Moreover, they can choose what kind of vacation they want. For example, there are packages which are created exclusively for families and couples but also, there are the ones which are customized for single people and for the ones who want to party and have the time of their life.
What is more, our customers can choose in which continent or country they want to travel or they can let our site to find their perfect holiday anywhere in the world. Furthermore, they have the ability to be more precise about their destination. For instance, they can decide whether they want to travel in a mountainous or coastal area, in a city, village or even in an island. Besides, they can select from a variety of accommodations like hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts and even campsites. The options are unlimited. In addition, the first campaign of “Wanderlust” illustrates these unique filters and how everyone no matter the age and personal status can find their ideal vacation packages depending on their preferences.
“Wanderlust” is a new company which wants to make the life of its users easier. Based on this statement the values of our company were made. First of all, we have established a site whose sole purpose is usability. It is very easy for someone to create their own personal vacation package. Also, our customers can access our site from every device like mobile phones, computers or tablets. Of course, our site is free to use by anyone and it is worldwide.
