WOAH X Aegean Airlines, If Not Now, When?

Doing the brief for Coca-Cola’s brand new app called WOAH was a challenging task, yet we were very excited to achieve our goal, and make a great presentation. The project was divided into two parts, the first part was focused on the promotional idea, and the second part was the amplification of WOAH.

Everyone wants to fill his life with adventures! Thanks to the collaboration of WOAH and Aegean, now you make your dream come true! 5 destinations and your favorite Youtubers are waiting for you! At first, Youtubers go on a two days trip to vlog about their experience. The vlogs from these trips are going to be upload to WOAH’s app. That’s where the prizes show up.

WOAH and Aegean provides two big prizes: The prize4everyone, and the big prize. Whoever answers correctly to the question that the YouTuber makes (observation game at his vlog), wins automatically a 10% ticket discount to fly with Aegean Airlines.

In addition, the user automatically gets participation in the draw for the big prize. which is a free, all-inclusive trip for seven days to one of the 5 WOAH-selected countries. Winners will be accompanied by one of their favorite YouTubers: Kostas Maliatsis, Alex Titkov, ZoePre, Konilo, and Vibrator.

How are we going to promote our idea?

One month before our Woahsome contest begins, Coca-Cola will release Coca-Cola cans with the faces of the five YouTubers printed on them. The pictures will be accompanied by hashtags, such as #woahsome #Zurich #Rome #ZoePre #Berlin #Bucharest #Warsaw #Vibrator.

Furthermore, all the funny moments and the highlights compilation of each person’s trip will be uploaded. The audience can watch the videos on youtube's channels. In the videos, you will find our woahsome link that automatically directs the user to WOAH application for more woahsome games!

Now it’s time to play the game!

So, after the participants play the app game we created, off we go to the second part of our promotional idea which includes of course a huge awesome event! How will our target audience find out about it? Well, we thought that would be possible through the actual application.

What we mean is that with notifications addressed directly to every users’ phone they get the chance to get informed about the big release party. The party will take place in a big venue in Athens, and it will include a huge amount of awesome activities. There will be five thematic escape rooms inspired by the five European countries, and the five selected YouTubers will play along with them.

Also, you get to play Eurospin, a big wheel of fortune type game, inspired by WOAH Christmas edition of the game, in which the players will win small souvenir prizes that the YouTubers bought on their trips. And of course, photo booths couldn’t be missing from the party, so that everyone can capture the awesome moments they will experience.

Apart from having fun by taking photos at Coca-Cola photobooths, visitors are provided with significant information from our special informational kiosks. Each European city has its own kiosk where visitors get informed about special monuments and places in each city, whereas WOAH’s deals in every city.

A special live act from Thodoris Marantinis and MELISSES will light up the mood, and at the end of party, the 5 winners of the Big Prize (a 7-day trip to a European city with a YouTuber) will be announced!

WOAH and Aegean will upload a promotional video, that will show the European destinations and the YouTubers that take part in the competition. That will make the WOAH platform even greater and widely known, but it will also increase brand love.
