YOUTHink agency: an agency for the future

In our final project for the lesson “Introduction to Advertising and Public Relations’’, taught by professor Betty Tsakarestou (Panteion University, Athens), we were instructed to create our own innovative advertising agency. The agency we have come up with is YOUTHink, a creative agency run by and aimed at young people.

About the agency:

We are YOUTHink, a creative network focused on the youth market. Our ambition is to help the most forward-thinking brands deliver their messages and ideas to young people. We work with brands that want to stay relevant in the rapidly shifting world of culture, technology, media and consumer attitudes. We create fresh, relevant, and engaging content to connect ideas to the youth market.

YOUTHink’s purpose and vision:

We are people with an irrepressible spirit for creativity, a passion for innovation, always looking for what’s new and what’s next, and a relentless desire to create category changing campaigns.

As the name of our agency indicates, our aim is to present the products of our clients to the YOUTH market in a way which gets them to THINK. This requires firstly that we understand the market and what its needs are and secondly that we find the best way in which to engage this market. Whereas in the past advertising was focused on television, radio, magazines and outdoor media, the changes that have occurred in the way that young people get their news, information and communicate amongst themselves means that advertising agencies need to consider new and novel ways to engage with them.

In this regard, while in prior years the staff of advertising agencies were largely persons involved in creative work or dealing with clients and media, our agency now has people who in addition to the previously mentioned skills are technologically aware, have a deep knowledge of social media and follow the latest trends so as to ensure that our clients get the best possible service.

Our services:

We work with our clients to understand their products and their needs. Once this has been done, we together develop a strategy for the best way to promote the product. This can be done either through the traditional methods (TV, magazines, radio), or through new platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, social influencers etc.

Once this strategy has been agreed, we work with our client on the placement, the management and the monitoring of the campaign. We have regular meetings to discuss the progress and adjust the strategy if this is required. Very often, our fees are determined by the success of the campaign and therefore we have a significant interest in its success.

They are supported by a group of young, enthusiastic persons with an average age of 24.
