AdaCards Weekly Update (13 July 2021)

Fantasy Staking NFT Game

In case you hadn’t heard, we are launching an NFT game to accompany our AdaCards NFTs! Like fantasy sports, Fantasy Staking will enable AdaCards collectors to draft virtual “teams” of stake pools and compete with other collectors based on their team’s performance. See this post for the full details of how the game will work.

We are nearly finished creating the game and we will soon open it up for a public beta test. Stay tuned for the announcement in our Discord server and create your account on the AdaCards site so that you’re ready to play! Here’s a preview of what’s coming:

See where you rank in each season’s standings. Season points are earned each game.

See currently running games and draft your team for the next game!

Draft a team based on your card collection. Add score modifiers based on the card rarities you own for each pool (a maximum of one card of each rarity can be played).

Series 2 Stake Pool Announcements

This week, we will begin revealing cards for the new pools that have signed up for our Series 2 release. Keep an eye on Twitter for card giveaways!

SPO Signups for Series 2

Stake pool signups for Series 2 are still live! We just published an article that explains the benefits provided to SPOs who participate in the project — be sure to check it out here. SPOs that would like to be included in our second AdaCards release can sign up here.
