By Raquel Dacosta y Marina Ramos.

These were difficult times in the Middle-Earth. Precarious jobs, leaders who just thought about their own benefit, low salaries and rising prices… The Community inhabitants, especially the women, were not having it easy; most of the youngest found themselves within uncertain working conditions, our main characters among them: Raquel and Marina. They, among others, wanted to fight for a better future, to accomplish their professional goals and to enjoy their jobs.

That was the reason why they decided to start on a new route towards the Land of Technology, ending up with the Dark Lord, gender gap and becoming programmers. And they didn’t do it alone, they were led by the Adalabers Company.

They would find many obstacles but the Company was equipped with strong weapons: pair programming, Agile Values and colleagues to lean on and learn from. So, when they reached the HTML plains, Marina, Raquel and the Company started their conquer by fighting against the CSS.

From now on, with the help of Flexbox, Displays, GitHub, CSS grid, Responsive Web Design and much effort they will have to achieve their first goal: become owners of the plains and turn the CSS into their faithful allied.

After fulfilling this goal, Marina and Raquel will still have to face many dangers: fear of the unknown, manage the Terminal and SASS, and above all crossing the great valley of JavaScript so as to reach their destination. Will they get there?

To be continued…
