Diabetic Cyborg Life 3/23: D.N.R./P.A.R.
When checking into a hospital we are always asked if we want resuscitation, or to be marked for a D.N.R. order, “do-not-resuscitate order.” Frankly, back in 2013 when I went in for my multiple sclerosis, or MS, I was more inclined to want a D.N.R. order. Now, I would ask if there was “please-always-resuscitate order” with a fiancée and more hope on the horizon.
