The world of dating apps and websites are crap for the most part I found. Yes, I met someone on a social media platform, but that was not my intention. I am not claiming a special sense or knowledge that I can profit from.
I was just doing my thing, and she came along and metaphorically bonked me on the head and drug me behind her. Just as I always inferred a woman would have to do to show interest in me, she did exactly that in her way. Added me on Facebook, started a PM exchange, and showed her interest in me, then an exchange of “you’re cute,” and that was all it took.
She had me at hello, to be honest, and the process of getting to know her was rocky at times. Yet, that just makes us stronger as a couple. As my Mother’s and Stepfather’s own long-distance love proved to me and them.
Their intra-continental, within a continent, love was the model for my inter-continental, between continents, love. Sorry for the uninitiated that don’t know social science and intrapersonal and interpersonal mechanics.
