Diabetic Cyborg Life 7/28: The End of This Experiment in Democracy
Mary L. Trump, PhD., Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man which sold over 1 million copies first day out. In a recent interview on MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, Mary Trump warns that a second term of her uncle would spell the end of this experiment in democracy. America already faces the end of the trial in my mind.
I seriously doubt he will relinquish the presidency with all the state and justice departments in shambles and little to force that transference of power in January. The total abandonment of state and justice leave few to question the actions of the executive. She warns that a second term will end America, I suppose the end is closer.
In my view, Trump will just cancel the vote after losing and crown himself president for life if he loses the election this November. Lord, do I hope I am wrong in supposing this very non-democratic move to power. I fear though that the non-normative term that precedes this act only makes too much sense in my political scientist’s and historian’s POV.
