The Diabetic Cyborg Life 07/13: A Simple Choice: Election 2024
To continue the liberally democratic republic that’s been the United States of America, or to descend further from the 246-year history that preceded the SCOTUS immunity ruling. Going further down the path of a failed state is precisely what Putin, Xi Jinping, Russia, and China are hoping for. The once proud defender of democracy to fall into autocracy and leave their past great times in history.
Yes, America being a nation started by rich white men that had African and other indigenous slaves in their possessions. Yet, they wrote the aspirational documents that left the door wide open to successfully become that liberally democratic republic where the granddaughter of a slave can become Vice-President.
That is either poor planning by those rich white men, or that was exactly what they were aspiring to be.
As our sitting commander and chief constantly reminds us, we are the only nation built on an idea. That being as MLK Jr. so strongly put it in his “Dream”,
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.”
