The Diabetic Cyborg Life 07/15: Mass Shooting Turned into an Assassination Attempt
The alleged shooter fits the M.O. for all mass shooters since Columbine in 1999. Loner, picked on, bullied, ate alone at lunch, and had few if any friends. I would suggest the usual thoughts and prayers everyone rhetorically offer after these shootings also include thoughts about banning assault weapons.
Reporting has already shown that the rifle was purchased legally by the guy’s dad, so legal purchases don’t stop mass shootings as all want to think. Soak a nation in guns and bullets and you’re likely to suffer assassination attempts and/or war breaking out in the streets. That is what some on the extreme right are advocating for in forums.
I too hate all that he stands for and represents to and in America, but assassination is the coward’s way out. Use the ballot box in November like a democracy is supposed to use. Donald was almost a victim to his own rhetoric and violence.
Maybe don’t advocate for a civil war if you don’t want “nonlegal” means to decide the election, like alleged nonexistent voter fraud.
Yet, an “illegal” war breaking out is what it will take when for Donald to win.
He will loses this fully legal non-fraudulent election on November 5, 2024.
