Tune Squad Space Jams

Much like Bill Murray, I’m a fan of underdogs — the Chicago Cubs this fall, the Michael Jordan led Tune Squad against the biggest, baddest team on the hardwood in the universe, the Boston Red Sox in 2004, who broke their infamous 86 year “curse” on my birthday and of course, fresh faces in music. As a teenager, my favorite place in the world was in the middle of a crowd at a show, immersed in the music of bands otherwise unknown outside of Myspace and Purevolume. Now, a Vice President and talent manager at New Age Media Management, it’s still one of my favorite places to be and a big reason why I love developing artists that are considered a “diamond in the rough” and in the early stages of their career before guiding them to the next steps. You can’t help but get excited for the “little guys”. This playlist is a must listen list of underdog “tune squads” you need to know. Enjoy.
