What is ADAPKO
ADAPKO is a location base buy & sell app supporting in-app translation, currently servicing its Beta Version.
Expatriates or anyone who are not familiar with Korean language face language barrier daily. Especially when it gets to using local apps, you need to put extra efforts due to complicated verification process and not supporting any other languages other than Korean and some end up giving up using those apps. To help overcome this barrier, we have launched ADAPKO starting this May with in-app translation function and simplified signing-up process. Ones who are tired of scrolling down related Facebook group can try this app.
What value ADAPKO is aim at
We aim to narrow down information gap between the locals and expats, thereby help expats to enjoy similar living convenience as much as Koreans do, starting with servicing BUY & SELL platform.
How to use ADAPKO
<STEP 1>
Download it on Android or Apple App Store.
<STEP 2>
Check your language setting.
Sign-up by phone number, Facebook or Kakao account.
- get verification number.
- Select Birthday, Nationality and Nearby University.
<STEP 3>
Discovering Deals or Selling Preowned Items.
- Location is university base.
- Items are sorted automatically by distance based on your setting.
<STEP 4>
Seeing Translations.
- Click on ‘See Translation’ button to translate the post.
- If you want to see the original text, click back ‘See Original’.
<STEP 5>
Leaving (secret)Comments to buy items.
- Click on ‘Secret’ to leave hidden comments(only the seller can read this comment).
<STEP 6>
Checking Seller’s Credentials.
- Previous records for selling, click on ‘Items on Sale’.
- To check on reviews, click on ‘Review’ section.
