Does Self-improvement lead to adaptability
This is a question I have come to ask myself over the research I have done about failure and I believe I have an answer for it now. Does self-improvement lead to adaptability? It depends on what you view as self-improvement. I believe self-improvement does have to do with our ability to problem solve and adapt. How can we improve ourselves if we are unable to adapt to the new situations that we face? We cannot, in order to better ourselves we need to be capable of changing. The author in the book, Failure, writes, “I know we all believe that a failure can be valuable if you learn something from it. After all, that’s what we call experience. But how about a failure that does not aim at self-improvement?” We have to be worry when we come across a new situation and it does not go according to plan. We must always aim to adapt and improve ourselves because we cannot be successful otherwise.
Adaptability also does not only lead to self-improvement, but can be crucial to working in a group. Adaptability, along with other traits such as problem solving, are extremely necessary when working with a group towards a common goal. You will come across different opinions, challenges, and different ways of doing things when working with other people and it will be imperative that you are able to adapt to that working situation.

Adaptability also comes in handy when you work on some of these other traits such as planning and problem solving. In order to solve problems, we need to be able to adapt to the situation at hand. This goes with planning too; you have to understand the changing situation in order to design a successful plan.
