It has been about 1.5 years (give or take) since the adbank ICO, so let’s take a look at what’s been built, how it works and how they all drive utility of the ADB token!

Just eight-teen months is not a long time, so we’re pretty proud to see this roundup of what the team has accomplished!

How do these entities work together?

In short, they all utilize the ADB token and the adbank network protocol. This means all of these entities support the utility of the ADB token and the adbank project.

The adbank advertising platform

Was the first (and most important!) part that the team built. This is the Ethereum-based blockchain system that utilizes the ADB token to transparently show advertisements. After several beta versions, adbank v1.0 was launched in September 2018.

The adbank advertising network is the protocol layer that these next entities are built on top of.

Fraud-Detecting Artificial Intelligence

In addition to the adbank advertising platform, the team also developed a proprietary fraud-detecting Artificial Intelligence! This AI collects and analyses data in the advertising network and flags fraudulent behaviour. And, as and AI, it continually learns and flags new types of fraud. The code has been developed and patent was submitted in the Fall of 2018 and we expect to have at least a one year waiting period for review and approval.

The AI is scheduled later in the roadmap so there is ample time to build the necessary scale of the adbank network so that there is enough data for the AI to properly analyze and learn to detect fraudulent behaviour.

ECig Media

Was acquired in the Spring of 2018, as part of the 2018 roadmap. The existing ad network was converted to utilize the ADB token for transactions, which drives the adoption and utility of the token.

The main goal of ECigMedia conversion is to allow transactions between Advertiser and Publisher in ADB Token.

By converting ECig Media’s original AdButler administration protocol to utilize the ADB token, this demonstrates adbank’s ability to convert any payment platform into ADB, using the Token Manager API!

Intergalactic Ads

Also launched in Spring of 2018 was Intergalactic Ads — the first crypto ad network that actually uses blockchain technology. Just like all of the other entities, Intergalactic Ads is based on the adbank platform and utilizes the ADB token. This platform was designed to serve crypto projects specifically and offers a robust selection of high quality blockchain and crypto focused publishers for advertisers to chose from.

Intergalactic Ads provides the lowest fees of any competing ad network and full transparency of payments between advertisers and publishers.

BLADE Browser Extension

BLADE is the first B2C (Business to Consumer) offering from the adbank team. While all other adbank entities provide huge savings, transparency and other benefits to advertisers and publishers, BLADE brings the End User into the mix and offers both privacy protection and real crypto rewards when users view adbank ads.

By rewarding End Users in ADB tokens (through the adbank advertising platform’s ERC20 smart contracts) adoption and utility of the ADB token is driven even higher than with just advertisers and publishers!

All of these entities work together, on the adbank platform, to drive adoption and utility of the ADB token and the adbank project!

Stay up to date on everything the team has been up to on the blog.
