Today begins the Libra season! Let’s celebrate what makes a Libra shine! So if you’re a Libra or you know one, then this post is for you!
A LIBRA’S PERSONALITY
A Libra is someone who likes to keep the peace. They do their best to make everyone around them happy and as a result, struggle with the word no. While their intentions are good — their desire to please others can make them feel stressed or overwhelmed. However, their kind personality, gentle manner, and desire for harmony continues to draw people towards them.
People born under this sign do not like to be alone. They value partnership (whether through romantic relationships, friendships, or interactions at work) and look at the people in their lives to offer balance and support. Thanks to their easy-going nature, the Libra is often celebrated for their social skills. Not only do they make good party guests but they have the ability to smooth over hurt feelings and moments of tension.
There are many positive attributes connected to this sign, including their ability to be objective. People of this sign are known for being patient and diplomatic. They are able to listen to different sides with an open heart and mind. They encourage fair solutions to problems…which falls in line with their peaceful manner.
A Libra is also known for being friendly, creative, and a logical problem solver. They tend to be optimistic and on the extroverted side, with a desire to share their love for life at every opportunity. But be warned! This sign can also be indecisive and unreliable. Their need for peace means they often give too much of themselves to others. Some may take advantage of that, leading to feelings of frustration.
Additionally, the Libra personality can often appear unemotional, detached, or self-indulgent. Since they love the finer things in life (music, art, poetry, and so on), they may behave in a way that appears to others to be over the top or self-serving. To combat this, it is important that the Libra steps back to evaluate their life and behavior every so often. This will help them achieve a balanced and happy existence.
A LIBRA IN LOVE
When it comes to romantic relationships, this sign is all about idealism. They are in love with the idea of what love can and should be. They tend to be optimistic — which carries into their romantic life. As a result, they believe in a once-in-a-lifetime forever type of love and are extremely romantic people. (Not to worry! The fact that this sign is pleasant and charming makes it easy for them to interact with others and draw them in.) This is largely due to Venus being their ruling planet.
Finding someone to share their life with is a priority for the Libra. They base much of their existence around finding and maintaining a solid relationship. Once they have a partner in their lives, their focus shifts to creating a peaceful and harmonious union. They will do everything in their power to make the relationship work, as once they have made up their mind about being with someone, nothing will sway them.
Since Libra is the sign of marriage, they feel a pull towards traditions (meet, date, marry, start a family). They are more satisfied when their relationships fit into those traditional expectations. When it comes to the partner they choose…. this sign wants someone who can set clear boundaries and offer protection without being overbearing.
To attract a Libra, they key is to focus on romance. A romantic gesture will go a long way in winning their heart! It is also a good idea to be social, showcase your logical way of thinking, and avoid appearing overly aggressive.
WHAT INTERESTS A LIBRA?
The Libra loves romance, the arts, and anything aesthetically pleasing. When it comes to hobbies and interests, this sign loves to go to a museum, check out a concert, partake in home decorating, or go for a romantic picnic in the park. They may also enjoy an afternoon of shopping. Alternatively, the Libran might prefer some laid-back and leisurely time at home, watching a TV show or movie (that is not violent) or reading a book. You may also find them tidying the house during their free time, as this sign loves when their home looks good.
LIBRAS AND THEIR COLOURS
If you fall under this star sign, then you may find certain colors have been calling to you over the course of your life. They are likely blue, white, pink, and black. The reasons for these are as follows:
Blue: Since Libra is an air sign, blue is by far the most compatible color. It symbolizes balance and harmony in all areas of life. This ties in well with the common personality traits of the Libra as they enjoy peace and beauty.
White: Another color representing balance, peace, and harmony, white is constantly drawn to the Libran. It represents purity, goodness, and cleanliness — all of which fall in line with the Libra’s positive attributes.
Pink: Of course, pink is tied to the Libra in some way. This most often represents love and romance as well as charm and tenderness. It only makes sense that the Libra is drawn to this color, as they have a high regard for all things related to love and relationships.
Black: While initial reactions to black may be negative (this shade is often associated with death, darkness, and mystery), in relation to this Zodiac sign, it makes complete sense. Why? Black also has been linked to elegance, formality, and prestige. Perfect for someone who enjoys the finer things in life!
LIBRAS AND FOOD
When it comes to eating well under this sign, it is important for the Libran to choose a high-protein diet that is low in fat, sugar, and foods that produce acid. Focus on eating lots of fish and seafood, yogurt, low-fat cheeses, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables to obtain optimal health. Drinking plenty of water is also important, as this sign tends to have sensitive skin. It can easily show the effects of dehydration, lack of sleep, or improper eating.
