AdHive at WebSummit

As one of the hugest technlogy conferences, WebSummit gathered more than 70,000 people and almost 2,200 companies in Lisbon, Portugal, on 4–7 November.

Part of our team, headed by Dmitry Malyanov, had a wonderful time there, meeting lots of different people, investors, many had already known about AdHive, shown interest in our AI technologies as well as possibility of conducting Influencer Marketing campaigns in Europe. We even met a few Adhivers there, one of them was quite happy to find out that we are real ;) We collected a lot of useful contacts and started negotiations with 3 companies about leveraging their Influencer Marketing activities.

AdHive at Native Advertising DAYS

NAD is a conference where thought leaders, entrepreneurs, creative minds, publishers, brands and agencies all come together to network and to be empowered to build better, more effective native advertising campaigns together. The event took place in Berlin on 6–8 November.

Ivan Kotov, our Head of Marketing, assisted by our long-time native advertising advisor Chad Politt gave a speech on the topic “Influencer marketing to become a major channel thanks to data, AI and tech”.

We have also set up an exhibition stand for promotional activities. On the first exhibition day the vast majority of visitors were a bit shy and mostly observed, but on the following day the real networking began. We received a pile of business cards and even run out of our own. One of the most interesting questions we were asked was concerning GDPR, and the audience seemed a bit surprised to hear that we are working in strict compliance with this regulation.

Moscow Retail Forum

On the 1st of November AdHive business development department took part in Moscow Retail Forum. It gathered representatives of different FMCG retail chains, as well as suppliers and manufacturers.

The AdHive speech topic was “Effective FMCG advertising campaigns with Instagram and YouTube microinfluencers”
The representatives of SMB business have expressed a persistent interest to the presentation. Around 15 companies requested to conduct advertising campaigns for their goods and services.
