“These licenses are already paying dividends ... in the past I had to assign students into teams because we had fewer computers running Premiere, and now, each student can have their own machine or work with a partner if they choose.” — Grandin Theatre Film Lab

As the creative industry continues to grow and develop, creative youth development organizations around the world are providing access to arts education programming for the next generation of creatives.

The 28 countries that Adobe Creativity Grants reached in 2019

In 2019, TakingITGlobal in partnership with Adobe provided 117 creative youth development organizations from 28 countries with the opportunity to deepen/expand access to technical and creative skill development for the youth in their communities. This global network of organizations participated and continue to engage with the Adobe Creative Cloud Donation Program.

The Adobe Creative Cloud Donation Program provides not-for-profit organizations engaging creativity as a force for social impact and positive youth development with up to 50 Creative Cloud shared device licenses for a 12 month term. These licenses give youth access to Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign and many more apps. Through this software donation, youth have been able to develop and grow their creative, technical, and cognitive skills for success in school, work, and life.

“Adobe’s software donation has provided an invaluable resource for students in our programming, who gain access to software to edit individual and collaborative videos and create design projects. Specifically, youth in the program Wide Angle Productions, have gained on the job training using the programs that they need to be fluent in to enter the creative media workforce.” — Wide Angle Youth Media
