In a year full of uncertainties, 228 creative youth organizations from 41 countries in the Creativity Grants network harnessed the power of creativity to reach and connect with 49,104 young creatives. They used creativity as a tool for expression and well-being, creating space for growth and providing a sense of stability and community during these unprecedented times.

“Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” — Albert Einstein

Through virtual programming, these young creatives were able to develop and grow their cognitive, technical and social skills such as: storytelling, confidence, film and photo editing, cross cultural collaborations and many more to support them in school, work and life. Additionally, they utilized Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to support them in using art as a tool for positive social impact in their communities.

To celebrate and acknowledge the incredible work of both these creative youth organizations and their young creatives, the TakingITGlobal team put together two virtual showcases, which can be found on the Creativity Grants website under the Resources tab. These showcases highlight some of the incredible work that was produced in 2020:

  1. Explore the 2020 Adobe Project Grant Virtual Showcase to learn more about the projects implemented and media created by the 25 organizations who were awarded with the $10,000 Adobe Project Grant.
  2. Explore the 2020 Adobe Creative Cloud Donation Program Virtual Showcase to learn more about how the Creative Cloud software supported, deepened, and/or expanded organizational programming and was used by young creatives to curate inspiring pieces.
