Flying into DCA?

If you’re not renting a car for the weekend, you may want to use the Hotel Monaco’s free shuttle. The shuttle is on request only, and here is how you would request it:

It leaves the hotel at the top of the hour on request, and departs the airport at the 30 minute mark. Please call the hotel main line (703–549–6080) when you are deplaning to confirm your airline arrival gate and we will send the shuttle at the top of the next hour. It is important to note that the shuttle does not run on a continuous loop and must be requested.

Should you want to start using the Metro, it does run to King Street, but then it’s about a 12-block walk to the hotel. There is a free Old Town trolley shuttle that runs right to the hotel.

If none of these options is appealing, there is always Uber or cabs. The drive is 10–15 minutes.
