We are presenting today a demo of our Adserver frontend. You can get a feeling of how it works and what features will be available in the initial working version. It is only a frontend not connected to the backend, so you can’t save any of your data yet. To be honest, we expected that we would be able to show complete demo with the backend, but it was not possible due to unforeseen problems about which you can read more below.

What’s in the demo

To see the demo navigate to https://demo.adshares.net/
You can log in with any combination of email and password.

You can see the design and advertiser and publisher dashboard. Go ahead and create a new campaign and set the desired audience. Create publisher website and select filters for wanted ads. You can download code to put on a site.

We are publishing this demo so that community can give us feedback and help us make software better. We will be incrementally improving this demo by implementing missing features then connecting it to the backend and finally to Adshares blockchain. There is much work to be done, but with the help of the community, we will create a great product.

Final remarks

When you are working on an ambitious startup with the unstable funding, you are likely to attract the type of developers with the entrepreneurial spirit. They are fantastic people doing great work, but they also have plans for own business. Now imagine you pay out some success bonus after reaching a significant milestone. That might entice them to work harder or … leave and start their own company with now available funding. Anyway, it is my take on an interesting problem that may or may not be linked to any actual events :) Other difficulties that are typical for blockchain startups are of course banks making problems with everything.

We will, of course, overcome any obstacles but original timeline might be delayed or scope of implemented features reduced. That being said we still expect to launch ESC blockchain in February, but the release of the working Adserver might get pushed back to April instead of March as initially planned. We will keep you updated.
