AI…One Day

One day, I would like to see AI become an extremely affective teacher for people with social disorders to help them learn how to communicate with others. Because AI doesn't want to dissapoint the user, it would never ignore or be rude to the user, which is very important when developing communicative skills. This would solve for all the people who are in need of a always-receptive ‘person’ to help them develop good communication skills and practices, all while being aware of their particular disorder or anxieties. People with social disorders would love this because the main issue with communication and learning is people not knowing the best way to help or just giving up before they’ve learned how to effectively communicate. In creating this program, it would be challenging to teach a program proper human communication skills well enough to teach other humans those skills, especially those with disabilities. The programs would have to be specialized in the different types of disorders they could serve, so as not to enforce strategies that are helpful to one user that could be to the detriment of another.

I also would like to see AI solve the wealth disparity issue we have in this country that is only getting worse. By implementing programs based on decades of previous tax data, it could compute the exact amounts each citizen should be taxed to be able to live comfortably while also paying for the programs and infrastructure this company needs. The users of this program would be legislators and government officials who would work together to implement these systems into our revenue system. They would love how quick and seamlessly the program analyzes years of data and highlights the issues that have led to financial crashes, overspending and our massive national debt. Ethically, I would worry that the people creating this program would want to protect their massive wealth and create the program to protect certain individuals who arent giving back their fair share to the community and government.
