Advantis Medical Imaging Appoints New CEO
Eindhoven, The Netherlands, January 19th, 2022 — Advantis Medical Imaging, a pioneering manufacturer of cloud-based medical imaging software solutions, today announced that co-founder Paris Ziogkas has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Zoi Giavri has been appointed President and Chief Product Officer.
Zoi and Paris co-founded Advantis in 2016 with the aim to develop an innovative, user-friendly and cloud-based medical imaging software platform which can assist physicians to achieve a more timely and accurate diagnosis of severe human pathologies. By completing the first phase of their plan which included the development of two highly advanced products for the analysis of brain and prostate MRI exams, now the company is entering into its commercial phase aiming to roll out its technology to new markets and expand globally.
Paris was most recently the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development of the company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science & Technology from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Masters Degree in Information Systems from The University of Manchester — Alliance Manchester Business School. Paris will lead the company to its commercial phase focusing on its global expansion and Zoi remains responsible for the company innovation and product development activities.
Commenting on his appointment, Paris Ziogkas said “Together with Zoi and the team we are going to keep innovating and bringing to market solutions that generate actual value to clinical organizations by alleviating their rapidly growing workloads and assisting them in focusing more on clinical findings and their patients.”.
