When life isn’t treating you too well, perhaps it’s time to take that long overdue break and beat for the beaches! Now, in a land where there’s a beach in almost every corner of the country with a coastline, we definitely participate in the mass-belief that each beach presents a unique experience in some way or form. So we dug deep into the archives just to make your decision making easier. If you’re permitted leaves at work are capped, then it’s time to cash in on these leaves and head over to these amazing beaches we absolutely believe should be on your bucket-list!

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, or better still, sip on some as you watch a glorious sunset on one of the beaches we’ve listed above! If it’s a break you seek, don’t think, just beat for the beach!

Arambol, Goa

No surprises we begin with a Goan beach, because hey, some of the best are here! What sets Arambol apart though is the therapy it offers. Heal your soul through yoga and meditation in the gorgeous sunrise, groove to the best nightlife and meet the coolest of musicians and encounter jam sessions by sunset. There really isn’t a better form of therapy and vacation than this! Also, Goan food!

Tarkarli, Maharashtra

Beaches India

Now since we’re all for adventure, we simply had to mention this place in our favorites. Tarkarli is renowned for the scuba diving and snorkeling services it has on offer. Dive deep and explore this abode if you want to enjoy a great beach experience. The icing on the cake is it’s fairly undiscovered, so it’s far from the prying eyes of developers; the best place to go back to the basics!

Palolem, Goa

If you want a boost in likes and raving comments seething with jealousy on your Instagram profile, then Palolem is the place to be. This picturesque Goa beach offers the most lively experience and is drop-dead gorgeous to view. Apart from the fact that it attracts massive drones of crowds from across the world, it’s also one of the best to simply head over to and admire the beauty of the beach life!

Kovalam, Kerala

Beaches India

Need a break from the city life but don’t want to step too far out of your comfort zone? If the answer is yes, Kovalam is the place for you! Widely regarded as the most developed beach in the state of Kerala, this in no way demeans the quality of beach life it has on offer. Open-air restaurants, fantastic views and a beach sheltered in a bay with a lighthouse at the far end, it’s the perfect setting for a vacation!

Radhanagar Beach, Andoman & Nicobar Islands

Beaches India

Isolation in its true sense, if you get the chance to head over to A&N islands, then you simply cannot afford to miss out on a chance to visit Beach 7 as its popularly called. Radhanagar beach is on Havelock Island and we guarantee you won’t find clearer water and finer sand at many other places in the country. What’s best is, it’s isolated, so it’s pleasantly calm unlike the many other vastly populated beach escapades!
