Haedong Yonggungsa Temple Panos
As my excitement showed in the last blog post, here are some cool photos of Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Ta-da…
We were fortunate to arrive half an hour before sunset for some nicely lit photos. This was the only time during the trip that we were on location at sunset and so I’m quite pleased by how the photos turned out. I tried a few panos that worked ok and a photosphere too but that wasn’t as good.
The temple is unique in Korea because it is on the coast where as typical temples are in the mountains. The safety railing got in the way a little but it’s a good thing it’s there because otherwise there’d be a lot of tourist wreaked on the rocks.
The day was windy so with a rocky coast it made for good wave pictures similar to what we saw on the Oregon coast.
Outside the temple on the rocks was a better spot for taking pictures but we eventually went in for a peak. There’s a Buddha up the hill which provides a good vantage point back towards the coast.
Let us know what you think.
