P. Eng. Ceremony

Last Tuesday I was invited to an induction ceremony for becoming a P.Eng. I actually became a Professional Engineer on August 30th, 2016, but the ceremony only happens a couple times a year. With me was Michal, another excellent engineer that I work with quite often.

The ceremony is like high school graduation. All that happens is you go up stage, hand the MC a paper with your name and a few sentences about yourself and get a photo taken with the certificate. There were about 100 or so new engineers in the ceremony. Awards for life members and fellowships were also given out.
