Sometimes, but not always!

Generally speaking, July and August are not the most interesting months for Apple fans: no new products or software updates are announced; Everyone is just waiting for the fall when Apple traditionally announces the new iPhones, launches their new operating systems, and more! There is however one thing that caught students’ eyes on Apple’s website right now, namely the back-to school-deals, which are here every year around this time. But are they actually worth it and do these deals also apply to you?

What’s the deal?

For those of us who don’t know, these back-to-school deals mainly imply that you’re getting a free pair of AirPods when buying certain Apple products. Most of the iPads and MacBooks are included, and even the crazy expensive Mac Pro, a device not made for students at all!

Apart from that, you also get the usual education discount on the product you buy, which is always available for those who qualify and usually reduces the price by around 10%. Apart from that Apple offers a 20% discount on their Apple Care with these deals, I don’t think many students would want to pay for that,

Are you eligible for the student discount and the back-to-school deals?
