As you may know, the overlords at Medium.com recently changed the policy and procedures for editorial submissions to Collections, including this one, in order to improve the experience for Collection owners, editors and writers. Apparently, many owners were overwhelmed by the number of extraneous submissions. I was not one of them. I happened to savor the diversity of topics that crossed my inbox on any given day.
With that said, I did not accept every submission into the Collection. Submissions I rejected included those:
— that did not have an individual’s name associated with it.
— that were focused on technology for the enterprise, not the consumer.
— that were commercial in nature, i.e., promoting a particular app or piece of hardware or software.
— whose grammar and ease-of-reading left something to be desired
With that said, I’ve gone ahead and pre-approved those writers whose work I’ve already reviewed and posted in the Collection. If you are not a previously-published writer in the Collection, please feel free to submit your work to me via email at: peter[dot]himler[at]gmail[dot]com, and provide yout Twitter handle.
Once you direct your piece to this collection for publication, I will review for submission.
