Ink by Codestag Review
When it comes to WordPress themes, there are a lot of great ones and even more bad ones. This week I was able to review the Ink theme by Codestag.
One of the first things I look for in a theme is obviously the design. Ink definitely has an excellent overall design. It arranges your posts in an elegant and simple way, making them and your blog as a whole look more professional and interesting.
Another thing I think is really important how the backend of a theme works. Usually if there are only a few options to change, I don't like the theme. In the same way, I tend not to like themes with an overwhelming amount of options. With Ink, there are just the right amount of theme options.
Changing the settings of Ink is a very simple process and you can do most of it from the WordPress live customizer menu, which saves time. What I've found while using Ink is that you really don't have to do many changes to the theme. It’s just a great theme right out of the package.

Although Ink doesn't require much fiddling with, finding the right typography is always a good idea. Ink is set to Montserrat and Roboto Slab as the default. But if you don’t quite love those choices, you can quickly change the theme to your preferred font. And you get to choose from a virtually endless list of Google Font types. You can also use Typekit.
Overall, I think Ink is an exceptional theme. It’s themes like Ink that make me glad I use WordPress.
