Love Art? Create a career out of it! Read on to know how.

I love art. I know art. For as long as I can remember. From age 2.
I was never interested in sports. I wasn’t interested in studying. I wasn’t interested in singing or dancing. I loved reading books and I loved art.
I wanted to be either a painter or a fashion designer or an author when I grew up.

But you know what the sad part was, art was not a profession in India. It still isn’t considered a profession. Maybe by people in my generation but definitely not even by one generation above mine.

So, let me tell you all something. Love drawing, sketching, sewing clothes and sculpting? You can be a professional designer or an artist! You don’t have to be an engineer or a doctor if you don’t want to. But you might have to update your skills a little bit.

Love Sketching/Drawing/Painting?

Awesome! Keep doing it! Sketch, draw or paint as many pictures as you can.

When you just start doing it, copy someone’s art. Trust me, it is okay.
Next, try the same but modify it the way you want to and add your personal style.
Next, sketch or paint everything you lay your eyes on.
Now, go sit in a room and draw anything that comes to your imagination.

Practice. Practice. Practice. And save all your sketches. Don’t throw them or give them away. It is not free!

Do you know what you can study to become?

And..

You just need to explore and stop thinking art as just a hobby.
