PURA VIDA!!!

This vacation has been the perfect opportunity for me to begin to establish my new sober travel legs (You know, like getting your sea legs.). I’m learning alot about…

~the many things I don’t know yet

~how I’ll do things once I’m out there on my own

~what I’ll need to take and all that I won’t be taking!!!

~more wonderful things I’ll be able to share with you that hadn’t even occured to me before this trip (an exciting discovery)

~and most important…the things I’m absolutely certain I’m good at.

LIKE MAKING NEW FRIENDS

It’s truly amazing what a few 25 cent trinkets and some dog bones can do for you in the friends department.

I met these new friends at Pablito’s (I think that’s right), a Tico run campground and soda right on the beach in Playa Samara.

We parked for 1000 colones (roughly $1.90) and had cokes and cervezas for 1200 each (about $2.28) which kept all of us happy.

Then, surprise!! It seems that when you buy drinks you get free soup! Yes, free! Soup of the day was delicious beef vegetable and pork soup. Really, who knew?

We all enjoyed lovely and cheap beach time, made some good new friends and left them happy as well I think.

We’ve done so much and I have so much more to share with you. Unfortunately until I pick up the pace a bit with my typing etc., I’m afraid it will be slow in coming.

Until next time, The Whirling Girl
