Mental illness, inner demons, stigma, emotional pain, external pain, suffering in silence, aches! What do these have to do with battling with mental illness and our own inner demons?

Well I’m someone of millions of others in our society who has been affected by mental illness as per experiencing one herself. It’s something that from experiencing it herself, has brought to her advocacy, belief of mental illness and making necessary changes by being a voice for others as much as other people were a life changing voice for me when I felt powerless and voiceless!

For so long when you know there’s something off with you but you don’t know if any belief or theory sounds anything like realistic or crazy. You have a fear or worry of some kind that if you bring this awareness and thoughts to someone, you might get judged for them. So you keep it to yourself and time passes and things happen. You health gets affected more in ways you don’t know with no education or knowledge on.

You can feel your life and your health deteriorating and yet you struggle a lot to push yourself to have enough courage to be bold in a way that takes a risk of saying something to what society would view as absurd or some term like that.
