ANSWERS

1. How to apply?

Go to https://www.aeternitystarfleet.com/ and click on APPLY button. The application form will pop up.

Note: the responses are NOT saved automatically until the entire application is submitted, so if you want to come back later and complete the form you might want to leave the window open. Deadline for application is 17 February.

2. What happens after you have applied?

We will revise your application and contact you to set up an appointment for online meeting if we have additional questions. This informal interview is an opportunity for both sides ask questions and receive answers and get clarification. If your project is selected you will receive an invitation to participate in Starfleet batch 2019.

3. Do you need to have MVP?

Having an MVP is a big plus but it is not obligatory to classify. Nonetheless, you should have a plan and present it.

4. Is it necessary to have incorporated company in order to apply?

Teams do not need to be incorporated at the moment of application for Starfleet.

5. How many team members have to attend the entire program?

Preferably 2 to 3 members from each team have to attend the entire program.

6. Can you participate in Starfleet entirely online?

Yes, you can under one condition — you have GOOD Internet connection. The activities in Genesis week will be streamed online and for the interactive sessions we will make video calls. If your team decides to join online you need to be present for at least 85% of the activities (your presence will be tracked).

7. Do you have to fly to Sofia for the Genesis week?

No, you don’t have to come to Sofia. You can follow the programme online as well.

We will try to make the experience of taking part in the workshops, mentorship sessions, watching the lectures presenting, brainstorming with your team, socialising with the fellow startup teams to be the same for the teams who participate online and those who are present in person.

8. Do you have to fly back to Sofia for the Demo day?

No, you are not obliged to come to Sofia for the Demo day. Your pitch will be projected on the video wall in real time.

Note: in case you choose this option make sure you have stable internet connection and consider in the time zones.

9. Does æternity Ventures cover food, accommodation and travel expenses for you during the Genesis week?

æternity Ventures will provide your breakfast and lunch every day.

Also, we are inviting all teams to a welcoming dinner. For the rest of the Genesis week, the evening meals won’t be covered.

The accommodation and the travel expenses will not be covered by æternity Ventures. However, you can always contact us and ask us to help you with suggestions and possibly, discount prices.

10. What is the financial investment you can receive in Starfleet 2019?

The financial investment is limited to $100.000 per project. Bare in mind, for some of the teams this amount could be supplemented with professional services your startup needs to outsource.
