While we’ve been working super hard to start producing a podcast (for real) we have this conversation nugget, for you, from our December zoom call. We tried to focus on COVID –– and its impact –– but definitely talked about so much more. Give a listen, and we’ll be here waiting on your thoughts.
As per the podcast, Aekya is working together on crafting a platform where we can sit down with hand-picked Desi women and converse about our beliefs, annoyance, and lived experiences in a patriarchal bubble — also called India. The conversations would range from personal stories of growth, individuality, microaggressions to working with women in minority groups, and marginalized communities. This podcast aims to create an oral history repository of young women of Indian origin who endure misogyny, biases, and harassment daily.
