aelf is pleased to announce aelf Mod Star of September: Shi Bob, mod of aelf Vietnamese Telegram group.
Bob has been a true star in the mod community and has gone above an beyond to help new members feel welcomed and connected in our aelf Vietnamese community. Today we present to you our interview with Mr. Bob Shi. Hopefully, this will help our global community to know and meet our Vietnamese star moderator.
Q: Hi Shi, thanks for joining us today, could you tell everyone a little bit more about yourself?
Shi: I have been into crypto and blockchain investments since 2015, as well as building and engaging crypto communities across the APAC(Asia-Pacific) region since 2017. I have also been driving blockchain education initiatives, and I am a Vietnam crypto influencer.
Q: How did you first hear about blockchain?
Shi: It was about September 2014 during a gathering party with my old college friends. Some of them had invested in cryptocurrencies and it came up here. From there I have been involved in crypto and blockchain investments since 2015.
Q: How did you hear about aelf?
Shi: People shared about aelf in my community after aelf successfully finished the private sale and was listed on some big exchanges.
Q: Why did you choose aelf? And why did you want to be a mod?
Shi: Aelf is a very promising and well-organized project. I want to be a mod to spread the word more throughout the Vietnamese community, and I feel like aelf is a good starting point for me to drive blockchain education initiatives.
Q: Could you describe what do you do as an aelf mod?
Shi: Basically, I answer all questions, design learning modules, update news and translate articles. I also create announcement threads in local forums, then publish in local media sites. I want people in my community to understand more about aelf. And also, I designed aelf stickers :D
Q: What is the most difficult part for you as a mod? How do you resolve it?
Shi: The most difficult part is when people keep asking about prices during the downtrend. I tell them: Crypto market is underperforming now, meanwhile we are trying to focus on the development process to bring the best experiences for our users. Please be patient, good things are coming.
