Technology
aelf v1.9.0 Upgrade
In May, the aelf network was upgraded to v1.9.0 with enhanced contracts to improve user experience. Key updates include persistent storage for failed transaction results, customisable expiration times for CodeCheck proposals to optimise governance, and enhanced NFT features allowing batch approval of multiple NFTs within a collection. Users can find more information on GitHub. These improvements streamline processes and provide clearer transaction failure reasons.

aelf Ecosystem dApps Highlight
Project Schrodinger
In May, Project Schrodinger achieved several significant milestones! There was a week where they saw a record-breaking minting of Gen9 cat NFTs, with 68,877 $SGR, equivalent to $180,000 USD, used in the process. A new feature was introduced through the Portkey wallet, enabling users to effortlessly evolve their cat NFTs from Gen0 to Gen9 by approving multiple tokens at once. The project team had also recently transferred half of its $SGR supply, amounting to 10.5 million $SGR, from Ethereum to aelf network.
Forest
Forest, aelf’s first NFT marketplace, recently released a new feature that allows users to batch create multiple NFTs with a one-time signature for the entire process. Furthermore, they adopted changes to their MultiToken contract, allowing users to create and issue NFTs directly on the aelf sidechain in seconds.
AeFinder
In May, AeFinder completed testnet verification and mainnet deployment for versions v2.1.0, v2.2.0, and v2.3.0, introducing several key improvements to enhance AeFinder’s functionality and user experience:
- Automatic Deployment: Supports k8s cluster for better convenience and stability, paired with optimised code checks for easier development.
- Enhanced Performance: Integration of Elasticsearch Hot-Warm architecture for faster write and query speeds.
- Subscription Flexibility: New feature for modifying subscription settings for data indexing and querying.
AetherLink
In the past month, AetherLink optimised its Datafeeds price data module, supporting multiple price sources, various aggregation methods, and historical price data collection capabilities. This significantly enhanced AetherLink’s performance.
