Welcome to the 5th episode of aelf Monthly Digest (November 2022). This report provides an overview of aelf’s development progress including tech and product updates, growth of the ecosystem, and events in the past month.
Following the major updates of aelf’s official website on the Testnet last month, November witnessed the same changes on the Mainnet. aelf website v2.1.0 is tailored to the needs of users and developers, helping them to learn and build with ease. In respect of media exposure, a cryptocurrency news platform undertook research into aelf and published three articles, covering ecosystem, governance, and infrastructures.
Technology:
- aelf Official Website Updated to v2.1.0: Responding to communities’ eagerness to learn more about ecosystem progress and plans in the future, aelf has updated the website to v2.1.0 which is more versatile and better organized. Various developer tools & infrastructures have been updated to help developers build DApps easily. Besides, the optimized layout and up-to-date content make it convenient for users to find information and explore the site.
- aelf Ecosystem Page Launched on Official Website: To support the deployment of projects in aelf ecosystem, an “Ecosystem” page has been added where users can explore all the projects already deployed on the Mainnet and projects going live soon. Users can browse through the aelf ecosystem, read project profiles, or visit their individual websites for an in-depth experience of the projects themselves. For developers intending to build on aelf, there is a portal that directs them to the project-listing application.
Ecosystem:
As a growing number of projects are making steady progress toward full deployment, aelf has completed code reviews for some of them. Here we have selected 2 projects whose codes have been reviewed by the tech team. In future monthly digests, aelf will gradually bring the rest of these projects to our community.
Energy8 is a full technological solution for game server owners that provides play-to-earn solutions to support game players to earn revenue through games, thereby increasing the additional revenue for players and game server owners. It will continue to integrate P2E game mechanisms into more games and bring users an immersive chain game experience, helping game server owners achieve user growth and obtain more revenue.
aelf Tracker streamlines the whole process of tracking assets and checking balances on aelf blockchain. It builds an integrated tracker of all chains where the balance of different tokens, be it Mainnet tokens, Testnet tokens, or resource tokens, can be accessed at a glance. In its roadmap, aelf Tracker sets the plan to add more features, including the tracking of token transactions and NFT collections.

Three articles were published on the cryptocurrency news platform AMBCrypto, covering aelf ecosystem growth, explanation of the AEDPoS mechanism, and in-depth interpretation of aelf as a firm supporter of Web3.
It’s been one year since aelf hosted its first hackathon and aelf ecosystem has witnessed steady growth. Have a look at these remarkable achievements.
