Highlight: Peng Rong attended DNT Elite Forum in Beijing.

Team Update

On July 19th, 2019, the third China Blockchain Application Competition, hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Blockchain Technology Industry Development Forum, was held in Hangzhou. During the event, aelf received the blockchain system functional test certificate by China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute.

This test verifies basic functions of data processing, permission management, data searching, data privacy, node management, fault recovery capability, application layer stability, and consensus. The aelf Enterprise platform performed well in this evaluation, covering all the functional points of the publicly available chain system.

Marketing & Community

On July 19th, 2019, in the third China Blockchain Application Competition, three teams submitted projects built on the aelf platform. The competition received entries from almost 100 companies, universities and teams from around the country.

Of the submissions built on aelf, the project “BEHM: An Open Equipment Collaborative Support Platform for Resource Convergence” submitted by China Shipbuilding System Engineering Institute received third place overall, and the other two received the Excellence Award. The BEHM project is mainly aimed for complex requirements such as equipment system support/release request, guarantee record traceability, and material circulation and traceability with multiple applications including within the military.

On July 28th, 2019, DNT Elite Forum (also known as Beijing .NET Club) initiated by .net experts was held in Zhongguancun., Beijing. aelf’s Technology VP Peng Rong was invited to attend this forum and give a keynote speech.

Peng Rong shared the concept of aelf and how it was implemented in conjunction with .NET Core and related technologies. At the same time, he expressed his views on the future combination of .NET Core and blockchain technology. “As a blockchain platform built based on .NET Core, aelf is one of the most active blockchain projects on GitHub, which is the result of positive thinking by our development team and the embodiment of the superiority of .NET Core. I think in the future, .NET Core and aelf will come out more leading technologies.”
