aelf to Allocate 1,750,000 ELF to eBridge for Cross-Chain Purposes, Around 1,050,699.1 ELF BEP-20 ELF from Mainnet Swap to Be Burned

aelf will allocate ELF to ecosystem project eBridge to support its development.

eBridge is the first cross-chain bridge on aelf, facilitating bidirectional ELF token transfers between aelf and Ethereum/BSC. The team now seeks funding from aelf to ensure users can enjoy smooth cross-chain transactions.

Acknowledging the importance of cross-chain capabilities and eBridge’s potential, aelf decides to allocate the unmapped tokens in the aelf Mainnet Token Swap, approximately 1,750,000 ELF, from its administrative address to eBridge. These ELF tokens will assist ELF token holders on other networks in completing their token transfers to the aelf Mainnet.

Besides the fund movement, aelf also plans to burn the BEP-20 ELF tokens from the Mainnet swap. Approximately 1,050,699.1 BEP-20 ELF tokens will be burnt, sending them to burn address 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000aedead.

Once the above two are done, aelf will provide updates and details of the movement and burning in a separate announcement.
