Transparency and integrity have always been part of the core values that underpin aelf’s mission and business ethics. In light of recent inquiries regarding the activities of one of our block producers, it is imperative for us to uphold these values and address questions related to potential associations between aelf, its block producers, and external entities. This announcement intends to address these issues and concerns expressed by our community.
1 . aelf as a distinct entity.
aelf operates independently, and any official affiliations with external entities are only acknowledged when expressly declared by aelf.
2 . aelf’s investments in external projects and activities.
Projects, dApps, and activities asserting investments in aelf without official acknowledgement from aelf, are considered invalid and unverified. aelf’s investments in external entities are only verified through formal announcements made by aelf’s officially listed accounts on the following channels:

3 . aelf’s relation to its block producers.
The responsibilities of aelf’s block production nodes, also referred to as block producers, comprise the collection, verification, and packaging of transactions into blocks, the dissemination of these blocks to other nodes, and the preservation of the stability of the aelf ecosystem.
Unless expressly declared by aelf, aelf neither endorses nor assumes responsibility for the actions, activities, and statements made by our block producers and external entities. Each block producer maintains its autonomy, conducting its operations and communications independently. It is important to recognise that aelf’s resources and operations remain entirely distinct from those of its block producers. Block producers bear responsibility and accountability for their governance, resources, and activities.
These principles hold for all of aelf’s block producers. Each block producer operates autonomously, conducting their private operations independently of aelf. This adherence to autonomy is a fundamental tenet reflecting the core values inherent in blockchain technology.
