There have been recent alleged associations between aelf and aelfUnion. We’d like to categorically state the following:
1 . aelf is a separate entity from aelfUnion.
aelf and aelfUnion are entirely distinct and independent entities. aelfUnion serves as one of aelf’s block production nodes, also known as block producers. Beyond aelfUnion’s role as one of aelf’s block producers, there have been no prior or ongoing partnerships or commercial connections between aelf and aelfUnion. Activities unrelated to aelf’s blockchain and outside the role of aelf’s block producers are not within aelf’s jurisdiction and supervision. This statement holds for all of aelf’s block producers, aelfUnion included. Block producers operate with autonomy, conducting their private operations independently of aelf.
2 . aelf has never invested in aelfUnion.
aelf has never made any monetary investments, nor has aelf allocated any financial investments in aelfUnion.
3 . aelf has never endorsed aelfUnion’s actions, activities, and statements.
aelf has never endorsed aelfUnion’s activities. Also, aelf does not assume responsibility for the actions, activities, and statements made by aelfUnion. As a separate entity, aelfUnion retains its autonomy, and its actions, activities, and statements are conducted independently. aelf’s endorsement and responsibility pertain exclusively to aelf’s operations and endeavours.
4 . aelf has never shared resources with aelfUnion.
aelf operates independently, with its resources and operations entirely separate from aelfUnion. There is no co-mingling and co-sharing of resources between aelf and aelfUnion. aelfUnion is responsible and accountable for its resources, activities, and governance.
