We’re super excited to officially invite startups in the digital services and solutions arena to apply for a place on Aerospace Xelerated, the accelerator programme led by Boeing.

Following three hugely successful cohorts, we’re delighted that Aerospace Xelerated will this year run in partnership with Tawazun Economic Council, the defence and security acquisitions authority of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) taking our program to whole new heights.

Tawazun is a fantastic partner that is truly driving forward the UAE tech ecosystem and shares our passion for empowering entrepreneurs to develop ideas that solve real-life challenges in a way that helps move the aerospace industry forward.

Having the programme launch out of the UAE will extend the market reach for many allowing for greater access not only to those outside the UAE, but also creating strong linkages to all those within the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. Like me, Tawazun can’t wait to partner with our startups as they navigate their way into new markets.

Success to date

We’ve had many success stories since launching Aerospace Xelerated in 2019. Startups involved in the three previous Aerospace Xelerated cohorts have gone on to raise more than £100 million in additional funding and create over 150 jobs in a time where many sectors were downsizing which is an impressive feat!

In addition to the pre-seed investment, the three-month accelerator has been great in providing the industry connections our early-stage startups have needed with access to strategists and technical experts that support in developing proof of concept opportunities.

Organizations to work with past cohorts as partners or mentors include Rolls-Royce, PWC, Frazer-Nash, Chevron Technology Ventures, Microsoft and EasyJet.

Digital services and solutions

This time round, we’re thrilled to be looking for startups from anywhere in the world working on relevant digital services and solutions.

Companies must be mid-late seed-stage; preferably working on software solutions; and at a traction-stage with proof of concepts (POCs), contracts already in place, revenue and/or letter of intents (LOIs). They don’t need to be operating in the aerospace sector, but instead see potential for aerospace problems to solve.

Successful startups will have the option to benefit from £100,000 investment, among many other benefits and perks from startup service providers including Amazon, HubSpot, Digital Ocean and many more. In addition, startups will gain unrivaled access to decision-makers in Boeing, Tawazun Economic Council, and industry partners, including the opportunity to be paired with a Boeing mentor for support throughout the programme and beyond.

Startups are welcome to apply until our application deadline of 2nd October— sign up for Aerospace Xelerated here!
