We are thrilled to announce that 16 of our portfolio companies will exhibit at the Aerospace Xelerated Innovation Zone, the first—ever startup zone hosted by the Farnborough International Airshow.

These companies span our four cohorts and are at the forefront of innovation in the aerospace, aviation, and defence industries with their unique solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

Here’s a glimpse of the Aerospace Xelerated portfolio companies you can meet at FIA 2024:

1. AireXpert

AireXpert continues to connect airlines, MROs and OEMs to the Integrated Maintenance & Engineering Network. Their systems drive performance, productivity, and efficiency.

2. AR Engineering

AR Engineering is a software development company that aims to change how we interact and learn with digital content. Recently recognized as one of Bain Capital Ventures’ 2024 Top 50 Vertical SaaS companies, Basetwo is dedicated to helping engineers future-proof the manufacturing industry with AI. Their platform helps engineers increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, and lower carbon emissions by simulating and optimizing their manufacturing processes in real time.

5. Flare Bright

Flare Bright has solved the problem of creating a robust alternative to GPS navigation. 9. NABLA Mobility

NABLA Mobility is an aviation technology startup committed to driving industry decarbonization by improving operational efficiency.
They “Weave” every piece in the airline’s flight operation by resolving the complexity of data. Plyable is transforming composite mould manufacturing with cutting-edge technology, reducing costs and shortening lead times. Recently, Plyable enhanced its offerings by expanding into composite parts production. With an international supplier network, Plyable ensures rapid global delivery of moulds and parts, adhering to strict confidentiality terms and aerospace tolerance standards.

11. Productive Machines

Productive Machines aims to simplify manufacturing companies’ lives by eliminating trial and error processes and ensuring that each machine tool reaches its full potential with our Software as a Service (Saas) solutions. Quaisr is the principal platform empowering teams to create, connect and consolidate digital twins within complex organisations. Quaisr is a spinout from Imperial College London and the Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence.

13. Sees.ai

Sees.ai is a UK-based business developing core technology to enable autonomous flight. Their connected and autonomous solution spans flight control, collision avoidance, vehicle management & safety management to enable safe autonomous take-off, navigation and landing. They now hold one of the world’s most advanced BVLOS permissions. Their current focus is on aerial inspection and logistics and executing complex close-quarter flights in challenging environments.

14. Signol

Signol’s sustainability-focused service uses behaviour change techniques through a web app and emails to help pilots and captains save fuel and improve fuel efficiency. A human-centred approach enables airlines to move beyond measuring net-zero strategies to taking meaningful action. By setting realistic individual goals for aircrews, and employing cutting-edge techniques, Signol has saved clients $25 million in fuel costs and nearly 100,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions.

15. Ubloquity

ubloquity specialises in reducing fraud, tackling waste, and removing inefficiencies within value supply chains to support frictionless trade. They achieve this through blockchain technology, digital asset identification, and validation.
