4000 AE Bounty: Be Part of æternity’s Art Project
Help us find a venue for a global, decentralized artwork project on a large urban scale, powered by the æternity blockchain.
At æternity, we have a mission to proactively create a future that we want to be part of. We are a team that believes in freedom and innovation, and we believe that blockchain technology empowers both.
Following the launch of æternity’s Mainnet, we will empower our global community to create a crowdsourced, decentralized artwork on a large urban scale, powered by the æternity blockchain.
As real blockchains are public, open, censorship-resistant, and transparent, so too will be this first-of-a-kind event.
We invite you to take part in our Location Bounty Program to help us find a great site for the first æternity blockchain creative project.
Propose a venue for æternity’s Art Project and you can receive a gift of 4000 AE tokens.
To include each and every one of you from the very beginning, we have launched this open call that will end on August 25, 11:00 PM CEST.
We are searching for a location to host this momentous cultural event. Warehouses, buildings, multiplexes, dams — private or public, empty or active — we will welcome and consider any suggestion in the search for the best home for this innovative project.
To help in suggesting or donating a location, please bear in mind the following:
- Painting on the walls might be permanent
- Hosting a long-term installation should be possible
- There should be enough space around to paint on-site
How do we define the perfect location?
- Over 11,000 sqm / 120,000 sq ft of flat wall (outdoor)
- Wall can consist of multiple parts
- Dry weather in January (low rain, moderate temperature)
- Low wind in January (under 10 knots or 20 km/h)
- Public accessibility (we want people to be able to reach and enjoy it)
- Logistic accessibility
- Two to three weeks on site (it takes time to make history)

Bounty Award
Upon selection of a venue, the contributor of the selected venue will receive a gift of 4000 AE tokens (a value of ~6400 EUR, 20.07.2018).
