Gaming gets groovy: Affyn unveils new Buddy Arena trailer with theme song by Warner Music Singapore artist J.M3
The trailer for Affyn’s latest game Buddy Arena is out! The trailer is the culmination of the partnership with Warner Music Singapore, whose artist J.M3 (pronounced as Jamie) co-produced and performed the game’s theme song.
In addition to providing a sneak peek of the mobile arena brawler, the trailer features an avatar of J.M3 with her Buddy Purffyn, highlighting the bond between two of them as they fight through the trials and tribulations of NEXUS World.
The upbeat and energetic song hypes up players battling alongside their Buddies in Affyn’s NEXUS World and celebrates teamwork, resilience, and triumph in life.
Buddy Arena has already launched on both iOS and Android in the Philippines, and will continue to roll out in Singapore and other selected markets this year, with a global launch a few months after. The catchy “Pick ’Em Up” will feature in the game as the main theme song when it’s launched globally.
“Pick ’Em Up” can now be streamed on all digital streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and Deezer, from here: https://jm3.lnk.to/pickemup
The collaboration underlies Affyn’s approach to strategic partnerships and game design; Affyn is always looking for the best partners across both the Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 industries that share the same vision of enhancing the experience for the gaming audience using innovative tools and methods. J.M3’s “Pick ’Em Up” sets the perfect exciting mood for arena brawling in the NEXUS World while also providing a platform for major names to enter the metaverse.
The partnership with Warner Music Singapore will continue to yield more collaborative opportunities. In the coming weeks, J.M3 will make an appearance at Affyn’s event on September 16 during the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) for F1 weekend. A full music video featuring Buddy Arena will also be released alongside the global launch of the game.
Gerald Ang, the managing director of Warner Music Singapore, will be on “What in the World Wide Web 3.0: Forging the New Future,” a panel talk show featuring ONE Championship Vice President Nikhil Birla, PwC Singapore Partner Noel Goh, and Affyn’s own CEO and founder Lucaz Lee.
Lucaz emphasized that this partnership showcases Affyn’s commitment to gaming innovation:
“At Affyn, we believe in breaking new ground through strategic collaborations. Our dedication to innovation propels us to explore novel ways to enhance the gaming landscape, and our alliance with Warner Music Singapore exemplifies this pursuit.”
