KevOnStage Is Just Who We Need
Kev is the favorite cousin who hosts the big summer cookout that is sure to result in life-long, gut-wrenching laughable memories that will keep us full long after we’ve devoured the hearty plate of ribs, potato salad, and pok’n (pork and) beans he and his wife prepared.
How It Started
Kevin Fredericks began producing comedic social media content as KevOnStage well over a decade ago. After building great momentum and a sizeable audience, he took a leap of faith in 2013 and left his practical, middle-class-funding job at a Boeing 737 MAX jet facility to pursue his Hollywood dreams. He later revealed in social media posts his hate for that job and his time spent in meetings daydreaming about his Hollywood career.
He did not have it all figured out, but as the self-proclaimed church kid that he is, Apostolic Pentecostal to be exact (IYKYK), he stepped out on faith to pursue the vision God gave him.
This not only required Kevin to leave his secure job at Boeing, but his wife, Melissa, had to leave her secure job at Boeing, as well. In 2013, the couple courageously moved their family, consisting of their two sons, from everything safe they knew to be true in Tacoma, Washington to have what they believed to be true in Los Angeles, California.
