Christian Nationalist Preacher Says He’s Not Racist, Prefers White Doctors
Many right-wingers think Black means unqualified
Do you ever encounter someone who’s so racist they don’t know how they sound? Well, Christian nationalist preacher Joel Webbon is one such person. I first heard about Webbon from Right-Wing Watch, which monitors the far-right. He has retrograde views, such as wanting America to return to a time when women couldn’t vote. This puts him in line with half of the GOP. Far-right shock jock Ann Coulter also shares this view, even though that would prevent her from voting!
Apart from being a flaming Christian nationalist, Webbon is also an ardent racist. Webbon is two steps away from lighting a cross and driving non-whites out of his neighborhood. He already stated that he’s relieved when he “encounters white families” and called Jewish people wicked.
But Webbon’s comments about Black doctors were shocking.
