Rumi Carter is a Star
Welcome to the Stage, Rumi Cowboy Carter
The Cowboy Carter Tour officially kicked off this week, and already there’s so much to discuss.
Beyonce is killing it, Blue is eating down, and even 7-year-old Rumi is getting in on the family act. But in true communal bullying fashion, many “fans” are more focused on what may be wrong than what is going right.
Indeed, thanks to groupthink and the hive mentality — no pun intended — we, as a collective, tend to build people up, only to viciously tear them down.
To her credit, Beyoncé has maintained her “golden girl” status for decades. She’s a major cash cow- (well, horse) who has been raking in the big bucks for tons of people virtually since her career started.
Moreover, she likes to keep her personal life private, which only adds to her legendary status. To me, this is the main reason why everyone seems to analyze her life with a fine-tooth comb, waiting to finally get their “ah-ha” moment regarding her picture-perfect life.
For those who missed it, Kanye West said some very offensive things about Bey and Jay’s twin son and daughter, Rumi and Sir Carter. Although he later apologized for it, the damage is already done.
