Before I ask anyone to read, clap, and comment on any of my work, I feel obligated to explain why I’m making such a request. Of course it’s because I would like the reads, claps, and comments, but it’s really because I’m exhausted.

My new job is keeping me extremely busy. I’m trying to keep up a regular writing schedule to maintain my Top Writer status. And on three nights a week (sometimes four), and Sunday mornings & afternoons, I have other obligations to church, the writing group I’m in (shout-out to WEOC), my second job, etc. And lately it’s just been hard to keep up.

This is why I thought I’d give a synopsis of some of my favorite pieces that I wrote when I was still new to the platform. I didn’t have many followers then and it was before my work began getting curated regularly. So, I did not receive much love back then because I was still an unknown writer in this space that so many of us have made our writing home.

By the way, if you are not familiar with my writing, I am an unapologetic pro-Black anti-racism activist and writer, so you should probably read the titles to decide if you want to read any further. I hope you do. Enjoy!
